VADANA stands for Vims Appearance Dataset for facial ANAlysis. VADANA is a real-world dataset of 2298 facial images of 43 subjects. It provides one of the largest age and blood-relation/kinship annotated dataset. The dataset is annotated with parent-child and siblings relations. There are various useful cross-sections of the dataset, such as multiple age images of same subject, multiple pose, illuminations, appearances and other occlusion variations within and across subjects. It thus provides one of the largest real-world testbeds for the problems of face verification across age, kinship verification with groud-truth and other related problems.Interesting questions that VADANA can help explore:Are these two subjects related by blood?
